Great Egret Chicks 16 captures a lively interaction between an adult egret and a young chick within a dense nesting area. Raised wings, open bills, and surrounding branches create a scene filled with natural activity and communication. The bright white adult contrasts with the softer gray-white feathers of the developing chick. This photograph offers an intimate look at family behavior inside an active egret nest.
