Islamorada 8 captures a weathered boat resting along a sandy shoreline beneath palms bending sharply in the wind. Darkening clouds and warm light near the horizon suggest changing weather over the Keys, adding atmosphere to the otherwise quiet coastal scene. The aged boat introduces a rustic maritime detail among the tropical vegetation. Movement in the palms gives the photograph an unmistakable sense of island breeze.
